Our courses teach you what never to put into an AI tool. It would be absurd to teach that and then be careless with your own details, so this page is short and specific.
What we collect
- Your answers to the five start questions. Which one sounds most like you, your work, what you want AI to help with, whether you have used ChatGPT before, and whether you will mostly use a phone or a computer. They change the examples in your lessons. That is all they do.
- Your email address. It is how you sign in, we send a six-digit code rather than ask you to invent a password, and how we send you anything you need to read.
- Your WhatsApp number, if you message us. We do not ask for it at sign-up and the lessons do not arrive there; it is the help line, and we hold the conversation so that whoever answers can see what you already said.
- Your name, because it is printed on your certificate.
- What you write in the lessons. The prompts you save, the practice you type in and the work you send. We may read what you send in, so do not put anything confidential in one. Your saved prompts are gathered for you on your own Resources page, they are your work, and you can copy them out or ask us to delete them at any time.
- Which lessons you opened and when. We use it to see where the teaching loses people, and to fix those lessons.
- If you leave a review, the name, country, stars and words you give are shown on the site, as you were told when you wrote it.
- If you apply to be a partner, your phone number, country and how you want to be paid, so we can read the application and pay what you earn.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your details to anybody, at any price.
- We do not publish your certificate. Verification works only for somebody who already holds your credential ID, and those pages are kept out of search results.
- We do not put any tracker from another company on the site, and no advertising company reads anything here. Our own ad links leave one cookie of our own, described under Cookies. If that ever changes, we will ask you before setting one.
The assistant on WhatsApp
If you message our WhatsApp number, an assistant answers first. It is built on Claude, made by Anthropic, and the message you send is passed to them to write the reply. It answers up to 10 questions from a number in any 24 hours and 100 in any 30 days, and Kamrul can take over the conversation at any point. When he does, the assistant stops answering that number for a day so you are not talking to both of us at once. Do not send anything into it you would not want a third company to process; that is the same rule the courses teach you about every AI tool.
Who else sees it
Only the services that make the product work, and each sees only what it needs:
- Vercel hosts the site, and Neon stores the database, your account, your progress and what you wrote.
- Cloudflare stores the books, voice notes and pictures of the lessons, and passes on email sent to our addresses.
- Resend sends the email, including your sign-in code.
- Google, only if you choose "Continue with Google": it tells us your email address and that Google has checked it. We do not get your Google password, contacts or anything else.
- Invite a friend: if you send an invite by email, we send your friend one email with your first name and email address, and keep only a scrambled form of their address so they are never emailed twice. If you claim your invite balance by bKash, we keep the bKash number you give and the bKash transaction ID with the claim.
- Paddle takes the payment as merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy is a second payment service we can switch to; if it takes your payment, it does the same job. They hold your payment details; we never see them, and we could not charge you again even if we wanted to.
- Meta, through the WhatsApp Business API, carries WhatsApp messages. Anthropic writes the assistant’s replies, and reads the practice you type in a lesson so it can tell you what to add.
None of them is given your details for their own purposes, and we do not add anybody to this list quietly: when it changes, this page changes with it.
Cookies
A few, and all of them are the site doing its job: one that keeps you signed in, one that remembers which language you are reading in, one that remembers whether you chose the light or the dark screen, one that remembers the page to bring you back to after you sign in, and ones that remember your answers to the start questions, or that you skipped them. Those answers stay in your browser until you sign up; when you do, they are saved with your account to choose your examples. If you open a partner’s link, one more cookie remembers which partner sent you, for 90 days, so they are thanked if you buy. If you came through one of our own ads, one more cookie remembers which of our ads it was, for 30 days, and it is saved with your account if you sign up, so we know which ads are worth paying for. It stays with Sifu AI; no advertising company reads it. There is no analytics cookie and no cookie from any advertising company on the site today. If that ever changes we will ask first.
How long we keep it
Your account and your saved work for as long as you have an account. Certificate records are kept indefinitely on purpose, because a credential that stops resolving is worthless to the person holding it. A certificate record contains your name, the course and the dates, nothing else. WhatsApp messages are deleted after 180 days.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you may ask to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and we do it the same way for everybody. If you are in Malaysia, the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 gives you those rights in law as well. Ask on WhatsApp or at support@sifuai.app and a person will do it. If you ask us to delete everything, we will, and we will tell you plainly that your certificate record goes with it.
